LCD monitors
LCD monitors are very thin flat screen computer monitors.
Computer LCD monitors simply replace an existing computer monitor
but are lighter and take up less desk space. Large LCD
monitors are impressive for exhibition stands and reception areas.

Multiple LCD monitors
Multi-screen LCD monitors allow you to expand your
view. You can position two or three LCD monitors horizontally or
vertically; three monitors in a pyramid, ideal for financial
markets, or display four, six or nine screens. Makes good use of
desk space too. You will probably need a multiple monitor graphics card when
using more than two LCDs.

Touch
screen LCD monitors
LCD touch screen monitors allow you to select options by touching the screen.
Touch replaces the need for a mouse. Useful in public areas for transport and shopping

Video and television LCD monitors
Video and TV LCD monitors can be connected to video recorders and satellite
systems and display a TV image. TV tuners are also available to turn them into
televisions in their own right. These LCD monitors also accept computer input.

Tile television is a waterproof television LCD monitor which can be installed in
most wet areas, including over the bath, in the shower cabinet, sauna, swimming pool area
or above kitchen worktops. Ideal for luxury hotel suites or for builders of

Plasma screen

Plasma screens use different technology to LCD displays and currently range from 42 to
60-inches and come in both normal 4:3 ratio and 16:9 widescreen formats. They can
be used for computer and video input and you can switch between the two for presentations.

Interactive
panels are normally A5 graphic tablets, which when used with
a computer and projector, allow the audience to see the computer
image projected onto a large projection screen, and also the
presenter to face the audience and make brainstorming notes or
annotations directly onto the screen, which are instantly projected
so that presentations are audience interactive. Tablet can be passed
from trainer to a member of the audience; some systems allow several
members to contribute at once.

Digital interactive whiteboards are used with a computer and projector to create up to a
70-inch touch screen display.

cameras and visualisers
Video visualisers and document cameras are electronic imaging tools for
displaying 3-D objects via a projector onto a projector screen,
whiteboard, plasma or LCD monitor. Ideal for corporate,
training, education, science labs, dental labs, medical research,
court room evidence, broadcast studios and video conferencing.
Microscope adapters are available with some models.

Digital
microscopes
Digital microscopes have a camera built-in to capture the
microscopic image which can be saved to your computer for editing,
measuring, saving, inserting into PowerPoint and other documents,
distributed by email. You can buy a separate digital camera
that fits onto a traditional microscope to capture images, thus
saving the cost of buying new technology.
